Barb Page
Hi, I’m Barb, writer, author, marketer, leader, and inspirer. I am also a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, as well as an animal and nature lover.
Throughout my 30+ year career in Marketing, I have always tried to inspire audiences through my writing and leadership. A published author, I inspired nurses to be better communicators through my book, Performance-based Nursing. I started writing poetry as a young girl and continued to expand my writing to stories, published articles, research papers, and many other pieces.
I recently earned a certificate from Cornell University in Creative Writing in Fiction. I continue to publish more of my work, including a children’s holiday book with Fox Pointe Publishing called Journey To The Northwoods, due out for the holidays in 2026.
I hold a Bachelor’s in Communications and Journalism, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master’s in Health Care Leadership, and a Master’s in Business Communications. I founded the writing and consulting firm, Montagne Group. My poetry and expressive stories are on topics including love, nature, leadership, and adventure, bringing hope and inspiration to life’s journey.
My family is central to my life, including 3 grown sons, 2 daughters-in-law, 2 grandsons, 2 grandaughters, sisters, brother-in-laws, and many nieces and nephews. When I am not writing, I am very active and downhill ski, golf, hike, and enjoy cycling.
